INTERVIEWS

The second stage of recruitment process would include an interview with the relevant department Spring managers. This could take place over a couple of stages, but don’t worry we are all very friendly and we can answer any questions you may have long the way! Often there is a third round of interviews with other department members and managers.

This may sound daunting, but this is very much a two-way process for us. You need to make sure this would be to the right role for you just as much as we want to find the right person!

Business Development Managers 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving leads and referrals from our accounts by building and maintaining relationships, attending key meetings, and advocating for and explaining our offering to our clients, particularly our Estate Agency Clients. This role will require travel 3-4 days a week with occasional days in the office. This individual will need to be mature and independent with excellent communication and relationship skills. We are looking for a natural “galvaniser” – someone who enjoys rallying people around a common goal. The ideal candidate will be able to reflect on our business development strategy, analyse results and share their insights with the wider Spring team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of Spring’s Lead Generation team and will work closely with our Relationship, Valuations, Marketing and Customer Teams. We are looking for a customer-centric person, who understands that excellent service to clients leads to greater profitability.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Attend client meetings to promote our product and train their teams.

Build and maintain profitable relationships with our B2B clients including agency branch managers and area directors through face-to-face visits, emails and call, ensuring we can unlock long-term value.

Expand our customer base through strategic planning and implementation.

Provide excellent service to clients, responding swiftly and effectively to their needs and requests.

Be the primary point of contact for our Estate Agency clients.

Proactively manage the meeting schedule with our Estate Agency clients.

Track and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly sales funnel reporting, using the data to highlight and plan process improvements.

Report internally and externally to clients on results of the sales strategy.

Meet with Spring Team members to share knowledge and plan strategy.

Use our CRM to maintain and analyse all data.

Forecast sales performance for your clients.

Performance in this role is measured on volume of leads and acquisitions, profitability as well as the quality of customer service delivered.

GENERAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

7+ years experience in Estate Agency

Strong skills in customer service and relationship management

Experienced working with B2B clients

Customer Service qualifications – desirable

Proficient using MS Office and comfortable to work with various software platforms

Comfortable using CRMs, Salesforce ideally.
