Homes in Blythe Bridge are the eighth quickest in the country to go from listing to completion.
Houses in one particular area of North Staffordshire are among the quickest to sell in England, according to a new search tool for homebuyers. Purchasers in Blythe Bridge can expect to move quickly with properties taking on average just 16 weeks from listing to completion.
The fastest location in the country is said to be Bar Hill in Cambridgeshire, where sales are completed in 12 weeks, while the slowest is Ayot St Lawrence in Hertfordshire, where the process takes 46 weeks.
The data comes from house buying company Spring’s new MoveSmart tool, which allows sellers and buyers to compare up to three locations at once, to see how homes have been selling, along with a breakdown of comparable properties for sale or sold within the area, an estimate of household bills and a breakdown of average sale prices. The tool pulls together information from Government sources including the Land Registry and from statistical technology firm, Propalt.
Blythe Bridge has its own railway station on the Crewe to Derby line, as well as its own library, high school and sixth form. There’s shops, a pub – with more boozers and stores in nearby Forsbrook. Meanwhile visitors to nearby Foxfield Railway can enjoy a trip on heritage steam trains.
We had a look at properties currently available in Blythe Bridge and have picked out five listings in different price ranges. All information was correct at the time of writing. And while the MoveSmart tool says you generally have to be quick to snap somewhere up in Blythe Bridge, some of the properties at the more expensive end of the scale have been on the market for a little longer.
